Description
The apartment complex STADEL on Tschangaladongastrasse was built in 1979. It is located on the outskirts of Albinen, a short distance from the Seminar Hotel Rhodania. Built into the steep mountain side, the complex is comfortably reached by car from the top. Each apartment has its own parking space. Apartment #29, just three short stairs (0.5 floors) above the parking lot, is in mint condition. The fully preserved original interior from the 1970s feels like an architectural time capsule. The large living room behind a wide front of windows and a balcony overlooking the valley forms the center of the apartment. Because #29 is a corner apartment, the adjacent dining area with table and corner bench features a large window facing the hillside. The bedroom with a double bed and a closet also opens to the balcony. Kitchen and bath are located at the back facing the mountain. They each have a small window—a welcome source of direct daylight and fresh air. The bathroom has a shower and a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony across the entire front of the apartment affords a unique panoramic view over the Rhone Valley and the mountains beyond, into the Dala Valley and the historic center of Albinen.
The sauna on the ground floor in the middle part of the complex is free to all residents, including holiday guests. You can book your sauna time via a simple reservation system.
Apartment 35 is reached from the entrance on the side of the parking lot up one flight of stairs (1/2 floor). It is an ideal vacation spot for people with an affection for 70s and 80s architectural expression. Access by car is easy and it is a wonderful place to relax as well as an ideal starting point for hikes, excursions and other adventures.
